First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looked at 150 female athletes, ages 14-24, who had a first ACL tear and were at risk for a second one. Researchers used movement tests to identify high-risk athletes and tested different rehab programs to see which best prevents re-injury. The goal is to help athletes return to sports safely and avoid long-term knee problems.
