Summary

This study tests a new way to prevent obesity in adolescents and young adults (ages 18-25) who are at high risk due to family history and higher body weight. Participants will receive lifestyle coaching and possibly medication to help control weight gain. The goal is to stop unhealthy weight gain early by targeting the body's energy regulation.
