Summary
This study looked at whether giving the antibiotic ampicillin through a vein for different lengths of time can prevent surgical site infections after wisdom tooth removal. 70 adults having both lower wisdom teeth taken out took part. The main goal was to see how many people got an infection within 30 days after surgery.
