Can extra walks keep hospital patients from getting weaker?
NCT ID NCT06802289
Summary
This study is testing if having a movement specialist check on older hospital patients more than once a day helps them stay more active. Researchers want to see if this extra support helps patients get stronger, spend less time in the hospital, and lowers their chance of being readmitted. They are comparing the extra check-ins to the usual care of one daily visit.
