First seen May 12, 2026 ยท Last updated May 12, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether combining a personalized exercise program (aerobic, strength, and balance) with a gentle vibrating device on the legs could improve muscle health, frailty, and thinking skills in older adults living in care homes. Forty people over age 75 took part. The goal was to see if this approach could reduce sarcopenia (muscle loss) and frailty, and possibly prevent falls and hospital stays.
