Summary
This study looked at 1168 adults who had a heart catheterization through the wrist. It compared two methods to stop bleeding and prevent a common complication called radial artery occlusion: manual compression (hand pressure) and a pneumatic device that gradually releases pressure. The goal was to see which method better keeps the artery open 30 days after the procedure.
