First seen May 08, 2026 ยท Last updated May 08, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether taking rivaroxaban (a blood thinner) for 7 days after a heart catheterization through the wrist could prevent the wrist artery from becoming blocked. About 930 adults were planned, but the study was stopped early. The main goal was to see if the drug reduced artery blockage at 30 days without causing major bleeding.
