Brain zaps after trauma may stop PTSD before it starts

Summary

This study tests whether giving mild brain stimulation (TMS) within two weeks of a traumatic event can prevent long-term PTSD. Researchers will measure changes in brain activity linked to fear. 50 adults with high early PTSD symptoms will participate.
