One-Week radiation blast could spare breast cancer patients from mastectomy

Summary
This study tests a 1-week radiation treatment for women who have had breast cancer come back in the same breast after prior radiation. After surgery to remove the recurrence, participants receive a short course of focused radiation to only part of the breast. The goal is to see if this approach keeps side effects low while offering a convenient alternative to mastectomy.
