Summary
This study tests whether a 4-5 week online program can prevent postpartum depression in expecting parents who have certain risk factors. About 520 parents will be randomly assigned to the online training or usual care. The program includes lessons and exercises to reduce negative thinking patterns. Researchers will check if fewer mothers develop depression in the six months after birth.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide a scalable, low-cost way to prevent postpartum depression in at-risk parents.
What could go wrong
This is a relatively small trial (520 participants) testing a behavioral intervention, so results may not generalize widely. The effect may be modest or not better than usual care.
