NCT ID NCT07561632
First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether asking new mothers simple questions within 24-48 hours after an unplanned C-section can predict if they will develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) related to childbirth. Researchers will follow 420 participants for 3 months, comparing early screening scores with later PTSD symptoms. The goal is to find a practical way to identify those who need extra support early on.
