ERs to pilot new tool for HIV prevention pill access

Summary
This study will test a personalized decision support tool to help people in emergency departments and urgent care clinics start and continue taking PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. Researchers will enroll 120 HIV-negative adults in Baltimore and Washington, DC, and track how many fill their prescription and stay on the medication. The goal is to make HIV prevention easier to access in busy emergency settings.
