First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at whether doing a home exercise program before lung cancer surgery helps patients leave the hospital sooner and have fewer problems after surgery. About 90 adults with lung cancer and COPD took part. One group did only chest physiotherapy, while the other added a home training program. The goal was to see if the extra exercise made a difference in recovery.
