NCT ID NCT07178665
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving a short course of radiation to part of the breast before surgery is safe and practical for women over 50 with early-stage breast cancer. About 98 participants will receive radiation first, then have surgery to remove the tumor. Researchers will check for wound healing problems, cosmetic results, and how the tumor changes after radiation. The goal is to gather information that could lead to better treatment options in the future.
