First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study is observing 1,000 pregnant people at risk for preeclampsia who are taking aspirin as part of their care. Researchers will collect blood samples up to four times during pregnancy to analyze tiny particles called extracellular vesicles. The goal is to find protein patterns that show how well the placenta is working and how it responds to aspirin, which could lead to better monitoring and prevention of preeclampsia.
