Scientists search for clues in Preeclampsia's damaged blood vessels
NCT ID NCT03806283
Summary
This study aims to understand why blood vessels malfunction in preeclampsia, a dangerous high-blood-pressure condition during pregnancy. Researchers will collect small tissue samples from 166 women during their planned C-sections, comparing those with and without preeclampsia. By studying these blood vessels in the lab, they hope to learn what causes the problem and identify potential targets for future treatments.
