First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a test that measures personal and social performance (PSP) can predict how much schizophrenia symptoms improve with medication. Over 760 people with schizophrenia took paliperidone for 12 weeks. Researchers found that those with better social scores were more likely to see a big drop in symptoms, especially if they started with severe symptoms.
