First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether simple body measurements like waist size and BMI can help predict a sudden drop in blood pressure during spinal anesthesia for C-sections. Researchers will monitor 321 pregnant women having planned C-sections and track their blood pressure after anesthesia. The goal is to find better ways to identify women at risk so doctors can take steps to prevent complications.
