New test could predict who gets pain relief from pancreatitis surgery
NCT ID NCT04996628
Summary
This study is testing a new pain assessment tool to see if it can predict which patients with chronic pancreatitis will get relief from standard endoscopic or surgical treatments. Researchers will enroll 150 adults with chronic pancreatitis who are already scheduled for one of these procedures. The goal is to create a model that helps doctors personalize treatment plans by identifying patients most likely to benefit.
