Blood test could warn patients of surgery risks before going under the knife

NCT ID NCT07359885

Summary

This study aims to create a test that predicts which patients are likely to develop serious breathing problems after lung cancer surgery. Researchers will analyze blood samples from 100 patients before their operation, looking for signs in the immune system that signal high risk. The goal is to help doctors identify vulnerable patients early so they can receive closer monitoring and care to prevent complications.
