Smart shoes may tell doctors how well You'll walk after knee surgery
NCT ID NCT07367789
Summary
This study aims to see if data from smart shoe insoles and other pre-surgery information can predict how well patients will recover after a total knee replacement. Researchers will observe 200 patients, analyzing their walking patterns before surgery and their reported pain and mobility six weeks after. The goal is to build better prediction tools to help doctors and patients set realistic recovery expectations.
