Summary
This study aims to improve the early detection of serious kidney injury in hospitalized adults. Researchers will test whether adding simple blood and urine tests to a computer's risk prediction score makes it more accurate. They plan to enroll 800 patients at high risk for kidney problems to see if this combined approach works better than the computer score alone.
