AI tool aims to spot hidden diabetes risk in psoriasis patients

NCT ID NCT07321288

Summary

This study aims to create a tool that helps doctors predict which people with psoriasis are more likely to develop insulin resistance, a silent condition that raises the risk of diabetes and heart disease. Researchers will use existing medical records from over 1,200 patients to train a computer model to identify key risk factors. The goal is to help doctors spot high-risk patients earlier so they can receive monitoring and preventive care.
