First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026
Summary
This study will follow 400 men with enlarged prostates who are scheduled for HoLEP surgery. Researchers want to find out if the percentage of prostate tissue removed during surgery can predict how much their urinary symptoms improve three months later. The goal is to identify the minimum amount of tissue removal needed for meaningful symptom relief, helping doctors plan better surgeries.
