Smartwatch could predict heart failure Flare-Ups days in advance

NCT ID NCT07350759

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study aims to develop a way to predict when congestive heart failure suddenly worsens, using data from a non-invasive wearable device. About 60 adults who already have a heart monitor implant will wear the device for up to a year. Researchers will look for patterns in the wearable data that appear 1 to 7 days before a heart failure episode, which could lead to earlier warnings and better management.
