Brain scans could predict who wakes up from coma
NCT ID NCT04445649
Summary
This study aims to identify which factors best predict whether patients with severe brain injuries will regain consciousness during rehabilitation. Researchers will observe 130 patients in a coma or similar state, tracking their brain scans, electrical activity, and health status over a year. The goal is to help doctors provide more accurate prognoses and tailor rehabilitation plans for these patients.
