Tracking Chemotherapy's hidden toll: can we predict who will fall?

NCT ID NCT05790538

Summary

This study aims to understand how chemotherapy side effects, especially nerve damage, impact patients' daily function and risk of falling. Researchers will follow 200 adults receiving specific chemotherapy drugs, tracking their symptoms, strength, and balance during treatment and for a year after. The goal is to identify simple tests that can help doctors predict which patients are most at risk for falls and functional decline, so rehabilitation can be targeted more effectively.
