Summary

This study aims to validate a new scoring tool designed to predict which cancer patients are most likely to develop long-term nerve pain as a result of their treatments, like surgery or chemotherapy. Researchers will enroll 625 participants, including cancer patients and healthy volunteers, to see if the tool accurately forecasts pain risk by assessing factors like emotional state, sleep, and social vulnerability. The goal is to give doctors a way to identify high-risk patients early, so they can plan for better pain management from the start.
