First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at stored tumor tissue and blood samples from 22 women with early breast cancer to find clues that might predict if the cancer will later spread to the brain. Researchers are analyzing gene activity in the original tumor and measuring certain proteins in the blood. The goal is to better identify women at higher risk, so they can be monitored more closely.
