Tailored drugs attack salivary gland tumors in new trial

Summary

This study tests whether giving drugs that match specific markers on a patient's salivary gland tumor can shrink it or slow its growth. About 39 adults with advanced or recurrent cancer will receive targeted therapy or chemotherapy based on their tumor type. The goal is to see if this personalized approach works better than standard treatment.
