Summary
This study is testing whether taking prebiotic supplements for 8 weeks can improve the mix of gut bacteria and help control symptoms in people with ulcerative colitis. Researchers will enroll 70 adults with active symptoms and track changes in their gut health and inflammation over 16 weeks. The goal is to see if this dietary approach can be a helpful addition to existing treatments.
