School stretch sessions slash Screen-Time back pain in teens
NCT ID NCT07380048
First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested a 12-week postural reeducation program for 187 adolescents aged 13-15 who frequently use digital screens. The program included strength, mobility, and stretching exercises done twice a week during Physical Education class. Results showed that teens in the program had better posture and less back and neck pain compared to those who did their usual warm-up. The findings suggest that brief, school-based exercises can help prevent screen-related musculoskeletal pain.
