Blood thinners after birth: could they save lives of new moms at moderate risk?

Summary
This study looks at whether giving blood thinners (LMWH) for 6 weeks after childbirth can prevent dangerous blood clots in women who have a moderate risk. About 2,400 women will be randomly assigned to receive either the blood thinner or standard care without it. The goal is to see if this approach reduces the chance of clots, which are a leading cause of death in new mothers.
