First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a patient navigation program helps low-income women stay healthy after having a baby. Over 400 women received either a navigator who helped them access care and resources for one year, or standard care. The goal was to see if the program improved things like doctor visits, breastfeeding, and mental health support.
