Can early therapy prevent Post-Birth pelvic problems?
NCT ID NCT07430865
Summary
This study aims to understand how the pelvic floor muscles and tissues heal during the first year after a vaginal birth. It will track 380 new mothers to see how physical changes relate to symptoms like incontinence and prolapse. A smaller group with symptoms will test if starting personalized pelvic floor muscle training early (2-3 weeks postpartum) works better than standard care to improve recovery and reduce problems.
