Summary

This study aimed to understand what causes mood episodes like depression after childbirth. Researchers followed 300 pregnant women, some with and some without a history of mood disorders, to track their mental health. They collected information on genes, hormones, stress, and sleep to try to predict who might develop postpartum depression.
