New study aims to catch diabetes sooner in new moms

NCT ID NCT05909046

Summary

This study has two main parts. First, it tests whether checking for diabetes right after giving birth (before leaving the hospital) is better than the standard check done weeks later for women who had diabetes during pregnancy. Second, it asks women about their experiences getting advice on heart health after pregnancy to understand what helps or prevents them from getting this important information.

This is a summary of the original study . Summaries may miss details or leave out important information. Before applying or accepting participation, make sure you have read and understood the full study.
