Gut health gummy aims to tackle obesity
NCT ID NCT07165431
Summary
This study is testing whether a daily gummy containing a special inactivated microorganism (a postbiotic) can help people who are overweight or obese. For 12 weeks, 114 participants will follow general nutrition advice and take either the postbiotic gummy or a placebo gummy. Researchers will measure changes in body fat, weight, blood sugar, gut bacteria, and other health markers to see if the supplement makes a difference.
