Summary
This study followed 229 adults over age 40 who had a recent stroke to learn what factors might lead to dementia or memory problems later. Researchers looked at medical history, brain scans, and daily living skills. The goal was to identify clues that could help predict or prevent cognitive decline after a stroke.
