Pilot program aims to help moms after early births
NCT ID NCT05120843
Summary
This small study tested whether care coordination and motivational interviewing could help women after preterm births get needed follow-up care and address health behaviors like tobacco use and contraception. Researchers worked with 13 women who had Medicaid insurance and recently had preterm babies to see if the support program was practical to deliver. The trial ended early to refine the approach before larger testing.
