Radiation after surgery may keep tongue cancer at bay for High-Risk patients
NCT ID NCT07402525
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether giving radiation therapy after surgery can delay the return of early-stage tongue cancer in patients who have certain risk factors. About 190 adults aged 18 to 70 will be randomly assigned to either receive radiation or just be monitored. The goal is to see if radiation improves how long patients stay cancer-free and their overall survival, while also checking side effects and quality of life.
