New radiation strategy aims to spare oral tongue cancer patients from painful side effects

Summary
This study is for people with a specific type of oral tongue cancer who have had surgery. It tests whether giving radiation only to the neck lymph nodes (instead of the mouth) can reduce severe mouth sores and other side effects. Researchers will also track if the cancer returns and ask participants about their quality of life. About 24 adults will take part.
