First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested whether stimulating a nerve in the ear (vagus nerve) right after running helps the body recover faster. Sixty healthy young adults who don't exercise regularly took part. Researchers measured heart rate and lactic acid levels to see if the stimulation made a difference.
