First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at whether stimulating a nerve in the ear (the vagus nerve) right after running can help healthy young adults recover faster. Sixty inactive but healthy people aged 18-35 took part. Researchers measured heart rate and blood lactate to see if the stimulation made a difference in recovery and fatigue.
