First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests a new portable, low-cost MRI scanner designed to diagnose multiple sclerosis (MS) in places where standard MRI machines are too expensive or unavailable. About 50 people with suspected MS will get scanned with both the portable device and a regular MRI to see if the portable one works just as well. The goal is to make MRI diagnosis faster and more accessible worldwide.
