Home heart monitors could catch problems earlier for cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT05138991

Summary

This study is testing whether portable heart monitoring devices used at home can detect early heart problems in childhood cancer survivors as accurately as standard clinic tests. Researchers are comparing two portable systems against echocardiograms and MRI scans to see if home monitoring can catch issues sooner. The goal is to make heart screening more convenient and potentially more effective for survivors who face increased heart disease risks.
