New At-Home pessary could transform pelvic organ prolapse care

Summary

This study compares a new pessary system that women can insert and remove at home to standard pessary care for pelvic organ prolapse. About 200 women who have not used a pessary before will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. The goal is to see if the new system improves satisfaction, ease of use, and quality of life over six months.
