Summary
This trial tests whether specially engineered nanostructured metal surfaces collect less dental plaque than standard surfaces. Twenty periodontally healthy volunteers will wear a custom tray holding four metal disks with different surface modifications for 72 hours, removing it only to eat, drink, or brush. Afterward, the amount of plaque on each disk is measured in the lab to see which surface texture resists buildup best.
