First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether actively caring for plants (like watering and pruning) can lower stress, improve mood, and boost academic motivation in college students. About 87 students will either care for plants on campus, at home, or not engage with plants at all. Over a 16-week semester, they will complete surveys to track changes in stress, anxiety, sleep, and study habits.
