Gut check: can a Plant-Based diet change bacteria in blood cancer precursors?

Summary
This study looks at how a short-term plant-based diet or supplements (omega-3, curcumin, or probiotics) change levels of butyrate—a healthy gut substance—in people with smoldering multiple myeloma or MGUS. About 200 participants will be assigned to one of the diet or supplement groups for two weeks. The goal is to understand how these changes might affect health, not to treat the disease.
