New hope for richter transformation: targeted drug combo heads to phase III
NCT ID NCT07220187
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding the targeted drug pirtobrutinib to standard chemotherapy (R-CHOP) works better than chemo alone for people with Richter transformation, a rare and aggressive lymphoma that develops from chronic lymphocytic leukemia. About 102 adults will be randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups. The main goal is to see if the combination delays cancer progression or death.
